Duff House is a treasure house and cultural arts centre operated by a unique partnership of Aberdeenshire Council, Historic Scotland and the National Galleries of Scotland. Designed by William Adam and built between 1735 and 1740 as the seat of the Earls Fife and later Duke of Fife, this 5 star visitor attraction includes paintings by artists such as Sir Henry Raeburn, El Greco and Gainsborough. Duff House organises a regular programme of changing art exhibitions, concerts and lectures. The Dining Room is available for private dinner parties, weddings often take place in the Salon and the grounds make a wonderful location for photography.
