The Lang Byre Gallery is an imaginatively converted cow byre, part of the WoodendBarn. The Gallery promotes exhibitions by local and international artists and provides a visual arts focus in the local community. Workshops run alongside the exhibitions, giving aspiring artists the opportunity to experiment in all art forms. Woodend Barn stages a diverse programme of music, theatre, dance, poetry and children's shows and is available for weddings and private parties. Buchanans cafe/restaurant opens early 2010 and will offer delicious food throughout the day from coffees, teas and homebaking to lunches and dinners.
