Originally built as a model farm in the 1920's Logie Steading is in the dramatic Findhorn Valley six miles south of Forres. The Art Gallery, established in 1992, promotes contemporary, predominantly Scottish, work and aims to appeal to a wide audience; watercolours, oils, prints, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, bronzes, cards and jewellery. Also at Logie Steading are antiques, painted furniture, dressmaker, farm and garden shop, secondhand books, River Findhorn walk and Heritage Centre, playground and widely acclaimed cafe. Many of the unusual plants for sale can be seen growing in the Walled Garden. It makes an interesting day out for individuals and groups as there is so much to see and do.
